Product demonstrations at DuPont Exhibition at the New York Museum of Science & Industry
Visitors at the New York Museum of Science and Industry, Rockefeller Center, were able to give a self demonstration at the former DuPont Exhibition of new materials developed by chemistry. By pressing a button, visitors could start the miniature electroplating apparatus which would show the plating and de-plating of a copper disc. On the right was the Freon display which demonstrated the preservation of flowers by the use of this refrigerant. The candle burning in the beaker demonstrated that Freon is not combustible.
