DuPont Exhibit at the 1951 National Packaging Exposition
Among the newer packaging ideas being shown by the Film Department of E.I. du Pont Nemours & Company is this self service unit of brick ice cream. It is a direct wrap with flavor identity on a continuous band of cellophane which also serves as an opening tape. It is contained in a die cut carton shaped for a domestic refrigerator tray with hinged lid. In addition to brand general information on the carton, suggestions for serving and special dessert recipes are on the bottom.
