Italian Claims Altitude Record
Text on verso: 'Pilot Renato Conati, on April 11th, claimed a world altitude record for airplanes with a flight of 49,200 feet. The recognized world record of 44,819 feet is held by Georges Lamoine of France. Photo shows Donati (center) after his flight, being congratulated by his superior, General Guiseppe, Valle, Under-secretary of Aviation (left).'
