St. Louis Fliers Prepare to Re-capture Endurance Flight Record
Text on verso: 'Dale (Red) Jackson and Forest O'Brien, St. Louis fliers, are tuning up their endurance plane to break record now held by the Hunter brothers of Sparta, Ill., which is 553 hours, 41 minutes. Prior to the Hunter boys feat in Chicago, Jackson and O'Brien held the record at 420 hours and 21 minutes. Their new flight will take place in St. Louis shortly. Photo shows L to R: 'Shorty' Cramer, who will assist handling of refueling ship, and Forest O'Brien, endurance pilot, inspecting ship to be used in flight.'
