Callizo Ousted by French Air Club for Altitude Fraud
Text on verso: 'All the aviation records claimed by the French pilot Lt. Jean Callizo, were declared void by the Aero Club of France and his name was stricken from the list of aviators. Callizo used a fixed barograph to substantiate his claim to an altitude record of 13,000 meters. A club official had concealed a true barograph, that showed he had reached only 4,000 meters.'
