Written on verso: 'Henry V.? Palmer (at wheel) and Loweel M. Palmer beside him, in 1905 or 1906 Matheson at Stamford, Conn. 1906. Note chains for muddy dirt roads. Peter Bally, our ex-coachman, in chaffeur costume in rear folding seat; looking very unhappy. How did those four inch tires, ever support that 6000 lb. car.'
