Matheson Silent Six Models near F. M. Kirby residence
note with image: 'Series B Speedster, Series C Roadster, Series B Toy Tonneau, Series C Touring. River Street. Wilkes-Barre. 1912.' Written on verso: 'This beautiful and nostalgic photograph was made in Wilkes-Barre near F.M. Kirby's home about 1912. It shows the four Matheson Silent Six models which the Matheson Co. hoped would pull it out of the slump then affecting the sale of expensive cars. However, less than a year after this picture was made, the directors voted to liquidate.'
