DuPont commercial highlighting properties of Mylar

Demonstration of baseball player throwing a baseball at Mylar polyester film in front of the camera to show the strength of the product. Spokesman shows properties of Mylar such as resisting extreme temperatures. Textile fiber and film department collaborated on product. Spokesman looks at possible future uses for Mylar such as clothing, recording tape, electronic insulation, motors in appliances and acoustical tile. Lastly, the strength of the product is demonstrated again by showing a woman swinging on a swing with the rope made of Mylar fiber.
