Xanthus Smith Collection 
A collection of correspondance from the painter Xanthus Smith to Sophie Du Pont, the wife of Rear Admiral Samuel Francis Du Pont. Collection also includes a small number of Xanthus Smith's drawings and paintings as well as an exhibition catalogue titled Xanthus Smith and the Civil War published in 1999 by the Schwarz Gallery.
