Description	Months ahead of schedule, the Vega Aircraft Corporation plant in Burbank CA is now in full mass production of B-17 Flying Fortresses for the U.S. Army Air Forces. Vega was the first to make deliveries of these heavy bombers under a pooled facilities agreement with two other aircraft manufactures and is now pushing production ahead on a 24 hours schedule. Photo shows Vega employees looking on proudly and enthusiastically while one of the four engine sky giant moves off the line during the noon lunch period.
