It shows the four Matheson Silent Six models which the Matheson Co. hoped would pull it out of the slump then affecting the sale of expensive cars. However, less than a year after this picture was made, the directors voted to liquidate."

Mr. Frank Matheson recalls that Allan Kirby owned one of thse roadsters, which was known by the irreverent in Wilkes-Barre as "The Box of Violets."
