Steel and America: A New Look
Film covers the history and production of steel, beginning with an animated sequence showing geological creation of iron ore. Animation continues with Donald Duck as a colonial iron worker. Live sequences show the restored Saugus Iron Works in Massachusetts, then modern steel production, including mining, transportation, blast furnaces, pollution control equipment, steel furnaces, steel rolling, research laboratories, and modern uses of steel.
Steel Frontiers
Film explains the need for iron ore and Republic Steel Corporation's mining of taconite and importing of ore from Liberia to resolve this issue. Also depicts Republic's titanium alloy production, manufacturing of nuts and bolts, production of iron powder, plastic tubing and research in agriculture. Includes animated statistics on sales, operating revenue, employment and income.
A Modern Store
The construction and opening of the new Strawbridge & Clothier retail store on 8th and Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Includes footage of Simon and Simon the architect firm who designed the new building; officials from the city; demolition and construction of the new building; laying of the cornerstone, and the store opening with exterior and interior views showing Market Street and a variety of views of the retail space. Concludes with footage of suburban stores in Ardmore and Jenkintown.
Easter on the Boardwalk
Ella Waters, Strawbridge & Clothier's fashion director, greets participants in the Easter Parade on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Includes a variety of footage showing crowds and people walking the boardwalk in Atlantic City.
Holiday in Philadelphia
Film follows a fictitious family visiting the city of Philadelphia. Includes footage of many tourist attractions in the city as well as sporting and cultural events. Highlights city planning around sites adjacent to City Hall and Independence Hall. Includes behind the scenes footage of American Bandstand at the WFIL TV studio. Film is narrated by Dick Clark. Made for the Board of Trade and Convention of the City of Philadelphia. Set furnishings were provided by and credited to Strawbridge and Clothier.

DuPont commercial on improved standard of living
Includes animation of worker from 1900 and in 1950. Discusses the standard of living changes that took place in those fifty years such as wage increases and less hours at work.
"The Inside Story of Tires" DuPont commercial
Film explains super strength tire made from nylon cords used in heavy duty trucks. Strength demonstration of nylon cord versus ordinary tire cord. Heat test using both samples also done. Animation of moisture issues included.
DuPont focus on safety commercial
Man enters frame wearing safety equipment. Spokesman discusses how DuPont's accident rate in 1916 was high, but due to safety training programs, safety devices and protective clothing, the rates were greatly improved. A DuPont technician operating a 160 horsepower automobile engine is shown, testing chemicals added to gasoline to improve its efficiency. Safety measures such as an automatic cut off and a double layer of safety glass to protect the worker are pointed out. Other safety equipment used in the laboratory and safety meetings held throughout the company are mentioned.

The story of Seagram's 100 Pipers Scotch. Shot on location at Seagram's distillery in Keith, Scotland, the film explains malt whiskey production, the value of distillery workers, and why Seagram's product is so special.
DuPont commercial on shaped charges for civilian use
Spokesman discusses bazookas, used in World War II, and what gave them their power. He explains the term 'Shaped charge' and animation depicts different types. He then points out DuPont has been working with oil companies using shaped charges in oil drilling. The 'jet perforator' is shown in use in animation.
"The Deep freeze Suit" DuPont commercial
Film explains that warm winter clothing has been needed since World War II. Thermal wear, nicknamed 'The Deep Freeze Suit' was created by two civilians for the Armed Forces using DuPont materials. Spokesman shows a test of a man having taken a cold shower and then standing in a refrigerator in the wet clothes. He goes on to show civilian adaptations, regular winter wear for families sold in stores.
DuPont commercial featuring Nylon plant in Seaford, Delaware
Editor of town newspaper 'The Leader', Wright Robinson, discusses how Seaford was once a small farming community but DuPont's Nylon plant, built in 1939, employed about 1200 people and was instrumental in the town expansion.
