Description
A ball grinding machine used for grinding pigments for inks. The pigment is placed in the jar with the stainless steel balls and the jar is then clamped in the machine and revolved for a number of hours to obtain a fine grinding. The ball grinding method is used particularly where a volatile solvent is used which would evaporate in other types of grinding machines. Equipment at the Technical Laboratory, Dyestuffs Division of the DuPont Company.
