MARTA YAVSHANLIAN was taken into the orphanage as a very little girl when she was called 'Wee Marta' in 1908 and she is now 14 years old and is somewhat deformed, as she cannot use her right arm. She has no friends and Miss Salmond hopes to educate her so she might sometime teach. Lately Mustapha Kemal Pasha has allowed the Marash orphans to go to Beirut, where they are in the care of Miss Freason. The letter enclosed will show the present need.'
