    Partial Transcript: "That was made by a millwright, there wasn't no factory..."
    Synopsis: Collins shows the interviewers around his mill. He shows them some machinery made by a millwright. Collins talks about some machinery that he has personally built. The interviewers ask him about wooden pipes and plumbing. He talks about dealing with rot on the grains he processes. He talks about other ways he earned money with the mill, like running lathes to make tool handles, in addition to sawing and grinding. He says that he made hard cider during Prohibition.

Abstract

Collins describes different kinds of turbines, wheel diameters and their various usage, and other industrial machines essential to his business. He also describes his family history and the running of the millrace, as well as overcoming problems such as rot. He describes the environment and wildlife in the area and also discusses his other interest in cutting hair.

Part 1: Ends abruptly but picks up on Part 2; Lots of background noise as demonstrations are done at the saw mill; Lots of variation in volume as participants are moving around the mill througout--sometimes Mr. Collins cannot be heard at all; Cuts off from 0:42:12 to 0:42:21; Cuts off from 1:23:40 to 1:23:43; This side of reel was compiled from three shorter reels ; Part 2 - Same issues with volume as side 1; The last few minutes are hard to understand, particulalrly the final 2 minutes as the quality of the recording is quite poor
