Testimony of Lammot du Pont Who Lived in Fort Delaware from 20th June to 20th July 1863
Description of conditions at Fort Delaware by Lammot du Pont. The fort was used to house Confederate prisoners of war. Lammot du Pont served as Captain of Company B of the 5th Delaware Volunteer Infantry, which was assigned to the fort in June and July 1863.
