Biographical Note

Lothar Jeromin (1942-) was born in Germany and worked for Phillips in electrostatic imaging and then moved to the United States in 1968 to work for Xerox in California. Jeromin worked for Xerox and then as his division was bought and sold, he worked for DuPont and Hologic in product development. Jeromin was responsible for developing direct radiography that was used in mammography while at Hologic. Within product development, Jeromin worked domestically and internationally, before retiring from Hologic in 2006.
