Letter informing Charles I. du Pont, Thomas Stirling, George Brattan, Isaac Ford, and Robert Miller of their election as honorary members of the 'Brandywine Home Guards.' The Brandywine Home Guards were two militia companies that later became Companies B and D, 5th Delaware Volunteer Infantry.
