Illustrates all principal buildings of the exposition, some of the smaller pavilions, tramways, parks, gardens, illuminated fountains, and the Eiffel Tower. This may be the fullest published record of the layout and architecture of the 1889 exposition. Charles Garnier, one of the administrators of the exposition, assisted in the preparation of the monograph. This is a presentation copy inscribed to 'Monsieur Chautemps, Député, membre de la Commission de Contrőle et de Finance.'
