This covered bridge at the foot of Rising Sun Lane near Henry Clay Village was known as the Rising Sun High Bridge. Covered bridge was replaced by a steel bridge in 1928. Sign on bridge reads 'Walk your horses over this bridge under penalty of $5.00.'
