Location: East 42nd Street and Park Avenue; On verso: 'Grand Central Railroad Station at Forty-Second Street and Park Avenue, is the New York terminus of the New York Central and the New York, New Haven & Hartford systems. This tremendous engineering feat, often compared in magnitude with the Panama Canal, was completed in 1913. Two hundred and thirty thousand people swarm through it daily.'

On verso: 'Electric Locomotive Number 4879, a GG-1, at the headend of a crack passenger train ready to depart Pennsylvania Station, New York. These locomotives powered many of the Pennsy's passenger and freight trains beginning in the '30's, then saw service for the entire duration of Penn Central and now are being used by Amtrak and Conrail.'

On verso: 'The Pennsylvania Station covers the entire area from Seventh to Eighth Avenues and 31st to 33rd Streets. It is connected with New Jersey by twin tunnels under the Hudson River. 60 feet below the surface also connected with Long Island by tunnels under 32nd and 33rd Streets. Station was opened on Sept. 8, 1910, cost of entire work over 100,000,000.'
