Naaman's Tea House after a fire. The original home was built in 1723 and acquired by Colonel Thomas Robinson in 1738. The blockhouse may have been built by Johan Rising in the 1650s. Later the house was a studio and residence for artists - students of Howard Pyle. In the 1930s and 1940s it was the Naaman's Tea House. The state of Delaware acquired the building in 1967, and the Friends of Robinson House give tours. A stone mile marker on the corner indicates 20 miles to Philadelphia.
