Description
Mirror glass and black lacquered wood are two mediums now being widely used by modern French furniture designers. Pieces offered by Colette Gueden, Paris, show great simplicity in design, the mirror glass being used as a decorative element in the chaise-lounge, console and small table in the foreground. Black lacquered wood gives an interesting accent note as well as serving the utilitarian purpose of support. Curtains of slit cellulose film carry out the lustrous quality of the mirror.
