On verso: 'The Union Station was completed in 1927. More than one hundred and thirty passenger trains pass through it daily on three main railroads -- the Boston and Albany; the New York, New Haven & Hartford; and the Boston & Maine. They afford frequent passenger and mail service in all directions East and West. There are 106 mail trains a day handling over five thousand sacks of mail and parcel post.'
On verso: The Boston and Maine Railroad have erected at Waltham a fine passenger station, which faces the beautiful Common or public square, although it may be entered from Moody Street. It is built of brick and has ample waiting rooms and shelter sheds.'
