- Date(s)
- 1880/1920, 1880, 1920
- Description
-
Wooden fence and gate reading 'No Admittance,' with eight men standing under the gate. There is disagreement about whether this is an image of the lower yard gate. Typed caption: "This is not Lower yard as there is no railroad going into the yard ever. This is not Hagley although the railroad did go in there were no double gates. This is not upper yard because the buildings do not correspond to anything on map. Powder yard fence did not go to Montchanin."
