Located just south of New Bern in Craven County, the community was intended as a recreational location, complete with golf course, marina, and horseback riding facilities. It was eventually (partially) constructed, and is now called Fairfield Harbor. Hosted by actor James Drury, well-known for his portrayal of "The Virginian."
