The attached picture (Photo 118590) was made in Schenectady on the occasion of the last visit of Thomas A. Edison to Schenectady and the General Electric Company in 1922. Mr. Edison is shown with the late Dr. Charles Proteus Steinmetz, examining porcelain insulators that have been smashed by Steinmetzs artificial lighting.

Rockefeller, Sr. and Jr. photographed outside of their New York home after they had attended services at the Park Avenue Baptist Church, where Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick, militant exponent of modernism, preached his first sermon as minister-elect. Both of the Rockefellers enthusiastically approved of the ministers sermon and each extended their greetings and congratulations at the conclusion of the services.
