Written on verso: 'This huge branch connection, called a trifurcation, at the Yards Creek Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project in northern NJ was fabricated by Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. using Lukens Penstock Steel. The all-welded, three-way connection must withstand great pressures as it breaks a single column of water into three branch flows. It's 'C' girders are 3 1/2 inches thick and its shell 2' thick.
