An old stone and slate farmhouse on the shore of Lake Hayes, in the South Island of New Zealand. Lake Hayes is one of the most beautiful of the South Island lakes and this views show some of the magnificent scenery. Photographed in autumn, the exotic trees of the surrounding countryside add a special riot of colour.
