Monument over Baltimore Pike on bridge over Crum Creek reads: 'Erected to those from Delaware County who served in the Great World War.' Monument was demolished in 1958 when highway was widened.
This theater is the venue for the oldest repertory in the United States, formed in 1923 by Jasper Deeter, a New York actor and director. The building was a grist mill in 1840. Emphasis is on education now.
