Description
Bedwell worked as a 'style spy' for the Textile Color Card Association of the United States. From 1928 to 1939, when she left the city to escape the Nazi invasion, Bedwell sent regular reports detailing color trends she saw occurring in her daily travels and in the couture houses of the city.
