A script for an episode of the television production, The Ohio Story. This episode features the ninth president who originated from Ohio, Edward James Roye. Young Roye was inspired by the statesmen who visited his father's barbershop in Newark, Ohio. He attended Oberlin College to learn French and in 1846 traveled to Liberia. Roye became an influential leader of the Liberian people, and eventually became their president. Storyboard sketches for the episode are also included.
