The correspondence is largely addressed to his mother Maria L. Skidmore Camacho and mother-in-law Emma J. Goodman Eaton. There are also letters from Francis Eaton Camacho and Simon B. Camacho to their respective mothers, in which they describe being caught in the midst of the Revolution of the Park (Revolución del Parque or Revolution of '90) of 1890 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and their support for the revolutionists. The letters written from South America in 1904 to 1905 reflect Camacho's continued mourning for his wife and his own declining health.
