- Date(s)
- 1955
- Contributor(s)
- Ohio Bell Telephone Company (Sponsor), Cinecraft, Inc. (Production company), Siedel, Frank (Screenwriter), Olmsted, Nelson (Host)
- Description
-
Actor Nelson Olmsted humorously recounts the story of the Ohio-Michigan War, a boundary dispute between the state of Ohio and the Territory of Michigan during the 19th century. Olmsted and other actors re-enact the events that lead to both sides repeatedly claiming a strip of land near present-day Toledo. While Ohio was eventually victorious, the states revisit their dispute each fall when rival football teams from the University of Michigan and Ohio State University meet for their annual game.
