A man responsible for collecting United Fund donations at his workplace complains about having to give and solicit for money. He's suddenly visited by a messenger from Hell who convinces him not to collect for the fund, arguing that the United States was founded on the "every man for himself" principle. The messenger then gleefully shows the man the various institutions, organizations, and people that will suffer without donations, and the man changes his mind. The messenger then reveals himself to be from Heaven, not Hell, and says he was sent to correct the man's negative attitude towards donating. "Help them All...all at once."
