NADA-TV presents highlights from the 2002 NADA Convention in New Orleans, LA. Reports on opening ceremony, spotlight on outgoing chairman Bob Maguire, keynote speaker Jim Press, General Manager of Toyota, the need for service technicians, dealerships and internet sales and Factory Focus: messages from Chrysler and Kia Executives and a reprise of Lee Greenwood's performance of "Proud to be an American". Video inter-cut with NADA DATA BANK features providing quantitative breakdowns relating to automotive industry, and suggested NADA convention workshops, and schedules. Report begins with seatbelt unbuckling ceremony and parade let by dixieland jazz band throughout the convention floor and an estimate of exhibit and workshop numbers. Industry Relations Lunch with executives from auto manufacturers and auto dealers; formal opening ceremonies with Marine Corps band followed by Bob Maguire's address to the convention and discussion of legislative action.
